Had it been a love song , people would have written much about it .This song is just great .I reminds me of soldies going to the war .Well, and how they always face such kind of quandry and they have to take one side (of course the other willl loose ) . Well, the way it is sung is just great .I am a intense floyd fan ... still there are some other's number that I like ... just love the voice of Chris and in fact I love the ups and downs in this song ... a beautiful emotional song ... really takes the cake . |

My all time favourite !!! In fact I absolutely adulate this group .But this song is way more beautiful ...it sounds as if designed for me ... it really transcends me to some different world .Apart from it's lyrical beauty ... the music part is absolutely soothing .Such a long song and yet to tire .This is a song I play it over and over on my pc and always come up with some new idea about its music and other composition . Well, last verse is really beautiful ... it seems like as if it is designed for me specially , I like the up's and down's in that verse .People might have different interpretation for this ... for me it is absloute entertainment .I just believe in that group .Moments are in your life , when you feel all have deceived you ... but Floyd will always be there to regale you ...I thank almighty God for such a nice song . |
