I cried so much when I heard this song. The first time I heard about pluss 44 was on Meet the barkers, I saw mark and Trav recording some stuff for it. I heard the lyrics and was like "No shit.." It definitely has to be about Tom. What else has been going on with them that would make them write this? Can anybody tell me that? But seriously, the whole "Thousand faces we'll choose to ignore" basically saying, they do have a choice, and they'd rather just keep quiet..until now. Of course we've always seen this, especially with guys, they think apologizing will make them less of a man. I think lots of guys should be able to see that, as well as girls. Blink was so great, and then..it's so fristrating. I think it was just too much of a good thing, and stress, and they're getting old, even though their music is the best, and will never die..I think this might be the end. But at least we will still have A&A and +44. I really hope they do one last tour, and just get over it together..I think music is the best way to do it. And..well they'll definitely realize both of them are sorry..There has to be hope! The whole situation stil brings tears to my eyes..thinking about never hearing a new blink song.. It's tragic. But seriously..what else could this song be about? I'd like to hear that from somebody. they must come back! So yeah, I agree with the two people above me. They shoould do one last song, just to say goodbye, and say their music will always have meaning, but it's just time to make it a memory, and start to make a new future. This is definitely one of their best songs, when they were stll young and finding out about love. Som e of their best lyrics are on this album. The only other songs as sweet as this (In my opinion) are ; a new hope, online songs, and I'm lost without you. Love this song, so very true, and very meaningful. These guys will ALWAYS rock, and they shouldn't have stopped so soon : ( But alteast I still have Plus 44! Well my thing is actually very different..you see... Well, my -ahem- 'friend' Jake..ahh screw it. We like each other alot, but we're not together. And well this was his song to me. And he said it basically means this: We break each others hearts every time we talk, and we get over it quickly. I tease him and he tease me hence 'Why am I still hanging around, when I know it brings me down?' meaning, somehow I always fuck it up, but I put it back together for him. He gets Jealous of the other guys I talk to him about. We both like each other so much and are similar, but something holds us back from being together, and we're both always hating everything. And he knows I've dated other guys, and wonders why I would want to be with him, this song relates to us both so much, especially me being his frustration. He says just change 'Josie' to 'CJ' and it's my song -_-; Which is a bit annoying. But none the less, very true. Because we talk about all the bad times we've had, we've told each other almost our whole pasts, and now we're ready to start making each other into memories, inst6ead of all the bad ones 'Please put your past behind me, it shines so bright it blinds me' we want to get over the past, but it will always be there. And it's very dark pasts, but they're so dark they're bright, and always dragging you back down. I think that might be what it means. But, I don't write their lyrics, and wouldn't know.
