| I realize that, but if the lyrics of a song kill it for you, then in my opinion you're missing out on the song as a whole. I actually liked the Day of Rockening and the Arockalypse bits, it brings back the part of rock referring to itself in songs and re-enforces their idea of Hard Rock coming back. | |

"WORST LYRICS EVER! fucking bollocks, who uses arockalypse? we are rock angels, I kno they're foreign but fucking hell, wat lyrics can be worse?? (other than pop lyrics) AAARGH!" Why do people concentrate so much on the lyrics? I could care less what the song said as long as it sounds good as a whole. If you're letting the lyrics ruin a song for you, then you're missing out, in my opinion. |

I think at the time he was referring to Martin Luther, the man who founded the Lutheran church, which broke away from the Catholic beliefs ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther for more info) Also i'd like to welcome PE to the Dark Side, I was raised in a christian home but belief in the realm of science and logical thought brought me away from it, mostly due to me being able to go out and test the things that Science teaches, unlike religion which is unchanging despite any evidence. By the Dark Side i don't mean satanism or anything like that, just to the realm of thought and reason. George Carlin probably said it best: "Religion was an easy class, all you had to do was ignore the logic and reason you were being taught in all your other classes" |

* Fingerprints and DNA. Each person has their own individual set, no two people in history have every had the same. And it's used to track criminals and for other justice purposes. So it was made by God for those reasons, how can you explain the whole DNA thing without proof God exists? *How could life have even started? Scientists have collected all the nessasery building blocks to create a living creature, but can't get it a life, only God can. The whole way life started is impossible without God. First off, we've managed to get life from the necessary components, check your papers from the 90s and you'll see plenty of information on that. Secondly, if DNA were made for the sole purpose of tracking criminals; why wasn't it revealed to us hundreds of years ago? Also, why do plants and animals have it if its only purpose is to track wrongdoers? Also, i'd choose my words more carefully if i were you, " in the Catholic Church the "Fruits" are our saints" is all too true in the proper contexts.... |

"None of their songs make sence, their lyrics are the gayest lyrics ever" Personally, I could care less wether or not a song makes sense. The lyrics need not even be comprensible, I just view the voice as another instrument. People who pay entirely too much attention to what is being said and not the overall sound of the music are missing out on the larger picture. |
