| Agreed, I think he's talking about the trials of life and how his music plays a big part in that. I know that he wrote it when he was young, but I think the basic message is that music, or singing, can get you through anything. In addition, you have to dream, and keep dreaming, because one day your dreams WILL happen. It is almost like he wrote it when he was 50, and is looking back on his life. Whatever the case may be, it has a great message that anybody can use. "Always look on the bright side of life" | |

I like the intro to the song, and when the first lines hit; it makes them pretty powerful, and it makes it sound like his giving all of his emotion. Ditto to the previous comments-I'm surprised no one likes this song that much. I was going through my iPod and found it and thought it was pretty cool, otherwise I might never have listened to it again. ;) Anyone, as for the chorus, it seems to me that the "Deuces are wild" line would have to do with "two", like the two of them are wild together, or as he says, they are two of a kind. I dunno, but I really like the song. |
