As for the meaning, kill-all-emos, (LOL, cool name by the way) I think "Psycosocial" has a lot deeper meaning than what you referred to. The term "psycosocial" refers to psychological development and interaction with society. So to sum it up, "Psycosocial" is a song about the state of society. Listen to the song again and I'm sure you will agree. As for elaboration, on the song, I think I'll let my fellow Maggots handle that one. Can't wait for this album. ALL HOPE IS GONE!!!!!!! |

I think the beginning is eluding to the fact that she doesn't want to try and the entire relationship is basically resting on his shoulders. And relationships are not a one person thing. "This is loveless Your love is hopeless" Yeah, he loves her but she will NEVER love him "Do you you remember On that night I couldnt find the words to say I'm sorry" I don't think he did anything wrong but he is probably saying the reason that she doesn't love him is his fault so he is apologizing. "I'm sorry this is all my fault that this didn't work out." But at the time he couldnt say that, he was shocked and in disbelief it was all coming to an end. Which is not true, the relationship was doomed from the beginning. Why? Because she never loved him! "If you recall that night you ripped my heart right out" She finally told him she doesn't love him "Before saying i loved you" She tries to ease his pain by saying something like, "We can still be friends" but obviously thats not going to work. He is in love with her. Remember - Before. "Do you believe is this? Do you believe in me? If you believe in love Would you believe in me?" She is just questioning the facts. He is perfect, he does everything for her, he is there for her, and he is everything but she doesn't love him? He just doesn't understand and rightfully so. The end is about him being robbed of everything. His love, his time and his pride. So if she doesn't love him back he will MAKE her love him and they will see eye to eye no matter what. She will believe. Even if it means he has to kill to her to make her believe. |

Sure it does, it means...uh...uh. Okay, I got it! It's simply about death. I think he is possibly talking to God Saying "Is this what you want from us? Is this what you wish from us?" I mean look at the world. Look at politics. We live in a world where war is a billion dollar industry. Killing people makes people rich. What kind of shit is that? I think it's about the fact that life goes on because of death. Without death, life would be at a stand still. The song itself has kind of like an armageddon, end of the world type feel to it.
