I wouldn't say they are an emo band however they do sing very emotionally. However they are a much different breed of emo. In my opinion I would call them Happy Emo. New genre just invented. lol |

I see the song as a couple who are deciding that they are ready to take their relationship to the next level. ("Cause I know, you know, It can't get much better, Firworks flyin' whenever we're together") However the girl is finding it more difficult than the guy to give up her virginity. ("Well I don't mind waiting Till you're comfortable with me") This is all in the start of the song however as you get to the end of the song it shows how the guy is going to stay loyal to the girl ("I just wanna feel you tonight, Making sure the moment's just right, I could die just staring in your eyes, I just wanna feel your heartbeat, Hold you even closer to me, Fall asleep with you right by my side, We'll see fireworks tonight, I've waited all my life, To make this perfect every way, And sharing it with you, Would make it even more than that") This is by far my favourite Plain White T's song. |
