waketolife- I listen to this music.. do I type like that? Take the music as you will. Consider it whining, if that's what you're going to do. People deal with their emotions in different ways. People will take these lyrics in different ways. Perhaps he is figuratively speaking? Maybe not. Maybe he wrote the lyrics and expressed his feelings rather than "cutting his wrists." silly people with their narrow-minded views. this is an extremely awesome song. yes, it could be considered emo.. but isn't all music? ALL music has some sort of emotion in it. i will agree that the live shows from HH aren't that great. that is why i'll stick to listening to the album. these lyrics are beautiful and many people can relate. and THAT is what draws the people to them. i'm glad that the people bashing CAN'T relate. good for you. maybe someday you'll personally feel the pain and emotion HH has put into these lyrics.. and all of their lyrics.. and you'll understand. |

seeing as how I played this song to my boyfriend of 2+ years, I take this song as being about a relationship. i can very well see it being about god, though. that's definitely there. it's a beautiful song, nonetheless. the piano makes it even better.
