| The Dillinger Escape Plan – 82588 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Jesus guys, relax. Putting labels on things is done because there's so many bands out there, with so many different sounds, hence a label gives you a clue to what the band sounds like. This makes it all way easier to search for new bands, based on a genre you like. Mathcore works fine in TDEP's case, since it's an indicator for what you get (really, fucking, progressive, music with experimental beats), but at the same time it can be too generalising since TDEP have had over the years some really artistic members who have touched on a lot of genres. The labeling is an indicator, nothing more, to keep some sort of registry over the different types of music. Lets not get too worked up about it. Either way, the song, anyone? |

| Beautiful | |
| DevilDriver – Head On To Heartache (Let Them Rot) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The riff at 0:26 is wicked. I have few ideas what it is about, but the second verse is both cool and interesting. |

| Jethro Tull – Hymn 43 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Be sure to see the difference between the religion, and the people doing evil in it's name. | |
| Gojira – Clone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It's seemingly pretty obvious. The song criticise the thought of creating the perfect human by cloning and what will follow if we do. The removal of the weak, all of us genetic codes with no soul, and man being made into a machine of flesh. | |
| Black Sabbath – Lord Of This World Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song carries the message of "fuck you"? Sorry kid, but no. This song is a comment to the way people live in "worldly greed and pride" and do evil instead of good (or love, if you want to be true to the lyrics). Already stated, this is Satan's view upon our foolishness. How we live like he wants us to, make him Lord of our world, and in the end we claim that we do not know of or follow his evil ways. Further on, Black Sabbath songs in general are alot deeper than just a "fuck you"-message. Hope you will realise that one day, and not think of Sabbath as something they are not. |

| Queens of the Stone Age – How To Handle A Rope Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Hell on earth is delightful in difference to the one at the other side. | |
| Ozzy Osbourne – Goodbye To Romance Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"I guess that we'll meet, we'll meet in the end." And you did :) (Ozzy getting back with the band in the end). This song is gold. |

| Eagles – Earlybird Lyrics | 19 years ago |

What the... PeglegPete, thank you for proving your ignorance. This song is pure awesome. Wicked intro, wicked banjo, great guitar riff, cool solo. Every time I listen to it its just keep getting better and better. |

| Black Sabbath – Planet Caravan Lyrics | 19 years ago |

People needs to lay of the "This song rules when stoned"-shit. I mean it, piss off. And I think that Cola has a point, this could be a telling of how it is to enter death. |

| The Doors – The Soft Parade Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think the song is great, to me it looks like a big LSD trip. "Ha ha, he bought a little, Yes, he did, Woo! This is the best part of the trip, This is the trip, the best part I really like, What'd he say?, Yeah!, Yeah, right! " What I get out of this is that he is having a ride into the land of acid and when there also criticising and rambling on with diffrent things in society. Also babbling alot of nonsense. |

| Creedence Clearwater Revival – I Heard It Through the Grapevine (Marvin Gaye cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Since english isn't my first language I'm having problems with the title. What does "heard it trough the grapewine" really mean? And I do really love the song, and I do understand what its all about, but just not that sentence. |
