yeah there are some weird things goin on in these lyrics the "worth what you did to your wrists" - should be.. "Oh no, was it worth it? Was it worth what you did to big business? Was it worth what your friends put up their noses?" and the tan lines thing made me laugh. but yeah it's "now you're tellin' lies well..." anyways, i love the format. dog problems is a great cd. |

| i've heard this song countless times - it was on the american eagle holiday dvd and i work there so i am subject to a 4 hour rotation of the same songs every day for about a month. after a while they get to be annoying, but this was one of the songs that i looked forward to hearing at work everyday. it's very catchy. i'm not quite sure what it means, i've never looked into it much. but nonetheless - good song! | |

i agree w/ backupdork - m. ward is definitely singing alone on the first "everybody's got somebody..etc" and it sounds like conor & him the second time conor does bob dylan's original part in the song - the verse thecomaboy mentioned. and um i went to jenny lewis in nyc on feb. 5ht and conor played a song with m. ward (who opened) and the girl next to me didn't know who he was. is that possible? how are you at a jenny lewis show and don't know who conor oberst is??? |
