All this fighting made me laugh but I just want to say this to all of you guys who said stuff like 'They suck!they don't even know how to write a decent song, etc etc' Give musicians a break will you? The process of writing lyrics and producing songs takes a whole lot of time and effort. No matter how unbelievably dumb or simple a song is, you should just learn to appreciate it. No, I'm not saying all of those because I am a fan and defending FOB but seriously! Give them a break will you? Plus Pete's writing has improved from his past works, don't judge his writing on one song, take the effort to read them all and learn, then you can talk shit about it if you want to. BTW rubyoverdiamonds you would call the lead singer- Patrick- ugly and shit like that but you have no idea how talented he is, unless you can beat him at it then you can talk shit about him. |

The meaning to this song for me, is that over all the madness in the writer's(lyricist;Gary) life there's only one special person who keeps him grounded, and this song kind of describes his love and how blessed he is to have her in his life. The simplicity of the lyrics and music somehow seem so beautiful, this is my favourite song in the record. |

When people mention 'God complex' they always associate it with people who acts like a God, you know act all powerful and superrior and shit like that? Yeah so to those who says it doesn't make any sense, " Loaded God complex" does make sense...try reading more to gain your knowledge .... When I heard this song the first time I just fell in love w/ Acceptance, great band might I add. This song to me means this guy wanted to be in a relationship w/ this girl who could change him for the better but still he is scared to take the plunge for fear he might change himself for the worst. I love this song so much because I could relate to it. And knowing the real reason Pete wrote this song made it so fitting . ok I know cute is gonna hate me for this but I still do think Pete sings the first verse and the first chorus. I do think Pete can sing because he did sang in some other songs FOB did over the years.
