to the above.... (wee yin) fo' sho' you know you're stuff, but so do a lot of to other people, you don't need to explain who the cure are, they're a band with a fair few disciples. and yeah, lose the smilies. but i do agree with you, their are similarities between the vocalist from black kids, but i think this is part of the lure of the band. as to the meaning of this song, my friend and i have debated it many-a-time and i think that it's just kind of unrequited love, not wanting to help this guy get in there with the object of all affections. |

I think this is about a guy who is (was?) just really wrapped up with a girl, and shes everywhere, well... not literly. But he's thinking bout her and talking about her and shes the bluest light. I love the song on the album, but when I heard the Engineers Anti Gravity Mix off Silent Alarm remixed when Trey left on The OC, I was gobsmacked..... tres much better. |
