im not all that sure but at the end when he says "and i don't want to talk i'm taking the cure so i can be quiet whenever i want so leave me alone you ought to be proud that i'm getting good marks" Elliott had attention deficit disorder. he took anti-depressins and other meds for it. last week they put me on the same medication as he was taking..the side effects are messed up .. it makes you not want to talk at all. they make you angry , i hated myself. and my mom was making me take them so i would do better in school. im not sure i could be totally wrong. but i think thats what he is trying to say. |
