This song is amazing, i love it. musically it's so 60s, so hippy, so cool, kinda remind me of the sillier Cream stuff. and lyrically, its just something that i, and i think a lot of people of a socially shy kind of persuasion will identify with a lot. It's about him wanting to reveal himself to someone, but not being able to, except maybe in some kind of closed, personal environment (maybe im interpretting it a bit literally), because of cowardice, or nerves, or whatever. i hope thats right. i dont quite understand the line "the setting sun's the only thing that's shining on you" though. not sure i get what it could mean in the context... |
