This song reminds me of that Final Fantasy VIII Character Squall. Anyways, angst aside, I don't really like this song. It just strikes me as whiny and negative. Granted a lot of 3DG's songs aren't positive (actually, i don't think ANY are, besides the point), but they aren't so negative to speak of self-mutilation, which, in my opinion, is a stupid thing to do. Adam Gontier (lead singer) said this album is about how no one understands them, and the loneliness you get from being surrounded by people you hardly know while on tour. I wonder, did these guys cut themselves on tour or something? Otherwise, where does this song come into the fact that no one understands them? Oh well, whatever. |

First comment? Wow. This really is a beautiful song. Based on a relationship that didn't turn out the best, like a lot of 3DG's songs. It hits a personal chord with me, with a relationship that didn't end in the best way, and I haven't talked to her in a year. I thought I missed her, and wonder why she did the things she did, but in the end... "I feel so much better Now that you're gone forever I tell myself that I don't miss you at all I'm not lying, denying that I feel so much better now" It made me a better person. Well, that's my two cents. |
