| it rips a new asshole for them because there is a guitar riff that is a play on unholy confessions, followed by mock vocals of it. | |

| Fear Before – Fashion Tips Baby Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Terrors of the night Waiting her to scream at night Akward desire to taste her Take her outside (x2) Now I kneel in shame (x4) You can't make me go outside The trees are vicious The winds speak lies Arms of summer warn "rain tonight" On horseback through it I coughed to stay alive I put her on her back And sewed diamonds into her eyes She can see me better now And I can love her again That'd the order that I got. |

| Aiden – I Set my Friends on Fire Lyrics | 19 years ago |

. Come on, Floop, what do you get out of making fun of kids on that internet that are expressing love for their favorite bands? I mean, sure I don't dig this band at all, but some people just love this. This stuff really sinks in for a lot of kids. I have taken it upon myself to browse your comments, and you've left a comment on a Coal Chamber song stating "this is amazing..." Now, is this the same kid that just bashed AIDEN on their appearance!? If you've taken a look at Coal Chamber, then you have no room to bash OTHER kids. Let's say you like the Coal Chamber song because you think the music 'rules.' Well, then what's the point in bashing Aiden? Fucking, COAL CHAMBER, man? KORN!? Let's take a look at your favorites... artist fans Darude Find Fans Jerry Reed Find Fans Kaizers Orchestra Find Fans KoЯn Find Fans Led Zeppelin Find Fans Lemon Pipers Find Fans Metallica Find Fans Nine Inch Nails Find Fans Nirvana Find Fans Pink Floyd Find Fans Project Pat Find Fans Sex Pistols May I quote... "Jon Savage's biography of the Sex Pistols, England's Dreaming, recounts that most of the bass parts on the band's later recordings were played by guitarist Steve Jones and at later live performances Sid's amplifier was sometimes switched off." The Sex Pistols had members so untalented and fucked up that they basically LOST the ability to play music. The band was nothing but a low rate fucking UK punk band with nothing to say except "our songs are about how hard it is to be an idiot fucking druggie." At least this band is making great strides to reach out to people. At least they're writing what they want for who they want. They are a real rock band. You're a fucking idiot. |

| The Number Twelve Looks Like You – An Exercise in Self Portraiture: Go Shoot Yourself Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yeah, it's about the "myspace angles." I.E., kids that take pictures of themselves from certain angles so you can barely see what they look like. They hide their narcissism behind self-doubt, and hate themselves so others won't. It's silly. I actually saw them on Thursday, but they didn't play this song. | |

| Hilary Duff – Haters Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| You just complained about Hilary Duff being too manufactured. Guns & Roses sort of overdid it with their jams also. You really have no room to talk about how bad artists are. Quit your childish antics. | |

| Bayside – How To Fix Everything Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The song deals deeply with self-inflicted pain, obviously. This band isn't really known for subliminal messages through lyrics, so I assume it's pretty straight forward. This dude wants out. He's buried in the repulsive image he sees of himself. The 'how to fix everything' is basically sarcasm, just a little laugh before he ends it all. |

| The Fall of Troy – Knife Fight At The Mormon Church Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is a song by The Thirty Years War, which became the Fall of Troy after they lost a guitarist. I have the EP that these songs I posted were featured on, and I figured that the lyrics should be up, since I killed to find them. I'm sure someone else is looking for these now. | |

| Avenged Sevenfold – Bat Country Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"Emo is a subgenre of hardcore punk music. Since its inception, emo has come to describe several independent variations, linked loosely but with common ancestry. As such, use of the term (and which musicians should be so classified) has been the subject of much debate. In its original incarnation, the term emo was used to describe the music of the mid-1980s Washington, DC scene and its associated bands. In later years, the term emocore, short for "emotional hardcore", was also used to describe the DC scene and some of the regional scenes that spawned from it. The term emo was derived from the fact that, on occasion, members of a band would become spontaneously and literally emotional during performances. The most recognizable names of the period included Rites of Spring, Embrace, One Last Wish, Beefeater, Gray Matter, Fire Party, and, slightly later, Moss Icon. The first wave of emo began to fade after the breakups of most of the involved bands in the early 1990s. Starting in the mid-1990s, the term emo began to reflect the indie scene that followed the influences of Fugazi, which itself was an offshoot of the first wave of emo. Bands including Sunny Day Real Estate and Texas Is the Reason put forth a more indie rock style of emo, more melodic and less chaotic in nature than its predecessor. The so-called "indie emo" scene survived until the late 1990s, as many of the bands either disbanded or shifted to mainstream styles. As the remaining indie emo bands entered the mainstream, newer bands began to emulate the more mainstream style, creating a style of music that has now earned the moniker emo within popular culture. Whereas, even in the past, the term emo was used to identify a wide variety of bands, the breadth of bands listed under today's emo is even more vast, leaving the term "emo" as more of a loose identifier than as a specific genre of music." This band isn't really much of an emo band. They're not easily categorized at all. They try to infuse everything they "love" about music. It doesn't blend well at all. As, I am sure many of you love them, they aren't very great. Their musical style is bland, and boring, and I've heard the same "let's mix hair metal with metalcore" a million times from a million different bands. While I admit, they've played well enough to make to TRL, I don't think that exactly required talent to do. Sure, they have commitment, but it's not always just being commited and following in the steps of your idols. |

| The Number Twelve Looks Like You – If These Bullets Could Talk Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think my take on this song would be like most people's. Of course, I'd probably state that it is about some horrible end to a relationship. Or I could safely assume it was all a huge metaphor, but I doubt it. They are very forward with their point in this song. But, I think this is more of an homage to those who have felt very down in thr dumps after the end of a break up, or finding out a terrible secret, etc. I would not put it past them to involve murder in their thought process of this subject. They seem to like that subject very much. I think it's more of a thought train, rather than events. I'm sure many of you have thought about "killing" someone after they betrayed your trust. | |

It's not "obviously" Bush. This is not a political song, and you're pretty simple minded if you labeled it was one for that ONE sound clip. Many people have deep Texas accents. It could, in fact be a state trooper, or some sort of law officer, or maybe even a local that stated that line. And the lyrics are in no way even in any relation to politics. |
