I live in Montreal, and last summer my family and I went to Boston for a holiday. We left during the night, in order to get to Mass. around midday. To get to the borders, we had to cross Pont Champlain. With the Montreal lights, and the clear summer sky, and that song playing on my iPod, it was one of the best experiences of my life. It did make me cry, even. The song is simply gorgeous. |

This song introduced me to Shotgun Rules. I must say it became one of my favourite songs on-the-spot. My guess for the meaning is that it's about somebody who has waited too long to declare their true feelings to someone dear to them. And now that someone has found love on their side. It basically says: ''As hard as it will be, I'll get over the heartbreak.'' But that's just MY take on this beautiful song. |

This song is really...haunting. George's vocals will give me nightmares...And I definitely like it that way. The meaning seems obvious. About a ghost town haunted by restless souls. And the 'narrator' (if I can use that expression) feels he's turning into one himself. Absolutely great track that's got me lingering for Crisis!. |

Nice, first comment. First of all, I really love this song. Even though it sounds quite different from the AOF we're used to. As for the meaning, the lyrics seem pretty straight forward.It's about appreciating every little thing in life before it's too late. The lines "I’m always wishing, I’m always/wishing too late/For things to come my way/It always ends up the same/Count your blessings " probably sum it best as for my view. Although, there could be a deeper meaning which I haven't quite got. o_ô Can't wait for 'Crisis!'. |
