i always thought this one was kind of saying that he would love to stay with a girl (Chiba, im assuming?) but him being "already somebody's baby" refers to what he believes is his destiny: self destruction and/or suicide. he would like to stay with her forever, but he won't be around long enough. i know, cliche cliche, but it fits... hell, im probably dead wrong :) |

this is the first song i've ever heard by Emery. i saw the song title and got super excited (im a pretty huge queen fan). i heard it and thought "emery is a christian band?!?!?!" (haha yeah that surprised me. i mean, i had never heard of them until today!) i can here and read the lyrics. "It is not our job to make anyone believe." ^ i wish more christians listened to that. im an atheist and im tired of being told im going to hell :/ |

about the whole age thing: who says conor was actually 13 when he wrote it? it could be his view of how his life was when he was 13, looking back on it. i mean he sure doesnt sound like hes thirteen when he's singing! and didnt he have his 1st band when he was 14? besides, the album title says it was recorded between 1995-1997. BUT in 1995-1997 he would have been between 15 and 17 so it is from a very young point of view. wow... i guess he could have written it when he was 13, but i doubt it. hmmm guess i dont really have a leg to stand on. i have to do it!
