the lyric "break my heart so i can start" also makes it sound like its about drugs, because in his book scar tissue he said any time he broke up with a girl it would trigger him to go on drug runs |

i agree with papiLPS. The begining of the song i think is oviously about cleaning up from drugs, and other impure things in life, but after the first or second verse it goes off on a complety different track and talks about other issue. |

its about a young girl, (i think shes 18???).. but seriously.. its about how she is growing up and taking the world by storm. It talks about how she doesnt know who the rolling stones are, and how she is following trendy stuff (the mood rings arent trendy, but its simbolic). All in all i think its just a good song about a teen growning up and facing the real world |

its a love song, talking to a girl. it is very sexual, and when he says "Now i´ll take it its better for you" it might be talking about taking her virginity. i am not sure, if anyone knows differntly please tell me. its a catchy song never the less |

what ive heard is that the song is about a group of mayb 3 or 4 guys who raped a girl, and then found out that it ruined her life, and she ended up killing herself, and now they feel bad, but after reading some of the other posts this might be wrong.. |

i have never been 1 to jump on the bandwagon and say that rhcp songs are about drugs, and normally cant stand when people do. but in my mind there is no doubt htat this song is about pot. as a kid who as smoked a decent amount of green, everything in this song reminds me of being high. fly away on a zephyr talking about getting high, coming down no not today talking about coming down from a high, not to strong, take a peice and pass it on.. taking a hit.. but its not 2 strong, were gonna live forever, when im high i feel invincible, and have no worries, and feel like nothing can hurt me, i feel it more then ever is talking about the high itself. i love the song, wether its about being high or not, but this song i think is definantly about being high |
