Simply, it's the dude, madly in love with the girl...she likes the guy, but not quite as much. It ends up that the girl dumps the guy, and the guy is so devistated that all he can think about is going back in time, and doing the whole thing over again. It's the only thing that would make him happy. Too bad...I feel for ya dude. |

This song strikes me as a very deep and meaningful song. "If there were no music, then I would not get through". Is that not just so true??? Music is totally how we express ourselves in the most deep and meaningful ways. It's true. |

You know, maybe the soldier really didn't die. Can't you picture, like in a music video or something...they scan over the crowd at the football game and show the back of some girl's head with a bow in her hair making you assume it's the girlfriend of this soldier...and she is obviously crying. Then the camera moves over to the face of actual girl, sitting next to the soldier...holding his hand. I mean, it's totally possible. |
