It sounds like the four times of the day mentioned here; dawn, day, twilight and dusk, sings about themselves. Like how dawn turns to day which turns to twilight and so on. It's like they tell their own story, how the times of the day feels like. How it goes endlessly until we fall. |

I actually think it's horrible that this song has got the most comments of all nightwish's songs. I don't like it very much, it's too easy, kind of. Hard to explain. I don't like the "Once" album very much, the songs are too symphonic and they have strayed to much into the pop-genre, more common-like.
Their old songs should have much more credit. I love Nightwish, but this is, in my opinion, their worst song. |
