i'm not sure but i think that this song is about how the "labrynth" of hallways affects or effects the characters. they chose holloways effect as the title because it was the most drastic, he..well i wont ruin it. Thats all i'll say, it's pretty vague but its the best i can come up with. I dont thing tfot would name TWO of their songs on a very deep book with no conection to the novel at all...maybe they would, i don't know them, they just seem more insightful than that. |

i think this a referance from Johnny's mother's point of view even tho the quote is from Lude. She is constantyl flip flopping on whether johnny loves her or is ignoring her hence the glass smile. She is wondering why he hasnt written back, is he ashamed of her or are "the words just caught up in his teeth." The WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT just adds to her insanity.
those are my thoughts and those looking for any easy text book meaning of this song or let alone any of TFOT's song, they are not for you, and neither is the book(onethinhallway). And don;t even dare to compare THE FALL OF TROY to panic. Just because ur not smart enough to make the connection doesn't mean you have to ridicule one of the greatest bands of our time...lemme guess you like hinder and HIM. Hey man you don't have to pretend you like HOL to look smart. |

it is near impossible to infer the actual meaning of thhis song or who's point of view its told from due to the many different narrators in the novel and how they coincide. Also Anthony Green probably wrote it on a coc trip. With all the frays from severed ends and rhetorical questions posed by the novel it leaves you feeling lost, confused, angry, frightened and....a little insane. If ur really analylitical and need answers to everything like me and an open end drives you to insomnia literally, then this book iis not for you. the book will tell you so.
Aside from all that ramble Circa is fantastic...and i'm sure anybody looking at Circa Survive's bonus track about a really obscure cult novel already know about The Fall of Troy's (the greatest prog. band of the time) connections to the book so i won't waist my time. |

this song is really great on it's own but nevethelesss there are many great covers. An artist from spokane wa called patrick oneill covered it pretty well go to spokane7.com, then go to teh p.a. system and go to pat's. it will download as 1 long song and it is after the interview and a few other songs. i also agree that it is very well placed in H and M, a great movie |

Their ep is full of amazing and powerful songs. this song is a single they released and re recorded for their new cd, it;s pretty obvious it's about life on the road(probably about them touring) It's good but not their best. I definately reccomend their Endura ep. |

I can really relate to this song, i think it's about after breaking up and every day is just so painful until one day you just decide to give it up and move. Waking up in the morning and carrying on is so har hence to dialogue in the end. letting go is hard. |

i'm definately not the first person to say this but i think the song is about the bitter feeling at the end of a relationship, especially if it was a bad break up. You ust want him or her to be miserable without you and don't them to move on. When i heard this song, it clicked, it made so much sense. It also has a very catchy beginning like most tbs songs. |
