Definitely about holding onto what he believes in or what he really cares about in life, and not letting others take it away for whatever reasons. Carpe Diem seems to sum it up too. The chorus does a good job getting the blood going before my hockey games :-D |

Above poster.....wow....just wow. It's pronounced "The" As for the song, I take this song as a person who's abandoned friends for a girl. His own lust for her has caused him to abandon his friends, yet his friends know she isn't right for him. That's how I take it. I really don't know how you can relate this to the game, considering the word "her" is in just about every line.... |
