Sad these guys arent together anymore. I remember seeing the music video of "you Get What You Give" back in 98 when i was 12, great song. And about this great tune here... Im experiencing the same right now. We had a crush but we both had other ppl in our lives. A year later we started talking about and she is still with the same bf of 4 years, but im single. I tell her how i feel about her and she hears me out whenever i do it. She mentioned before that we have potential to be more. But she is stuck on this fool who she says she cares for but then again, whenever we hang out it feels like i could show her so much more. We always laugh and make each other feel better. Specially when she is down, i take her out and she then tells me how good i am at making her smile. *sigh* I guess... Someday we'll know? ^_^ |

I've had the CD for a few months now but i JUST recently discovered how good this song is while taking my 5 year old brother to school. We started listening to TAI and he mentioned he liked THIS song (Checkmarks), i played it once and i ended up liking it as well... lol |

he starts talking about how hes hanging with her friends and hes getting drunk since when he is with her their relationship shows how shitty it is. He wants to fake it or pretend they are something they are not. He cant stand being with her, she is with him but she treats him like shit. She talks him down and says mean shit to him and she doesnt even take it back (pretty explanatory). Meanwhile he is with her and her friends and he gets drunk (since he cant take his relationship with her) and all the people there look at him like a weirdo and dont like him, and she doesnt stand up to him or anything, she just agrees with them (most likely). He cant stand her even tho he is with her. He is infatuated with her and he cant get the strength to leave her since he is still with her. This song is exactly like a relationship i had with this one girl named Andrea Sanchez... If you know her, tell her to F off for me. Thank you... |

The song explains itself. But more than that, i am surprised no one comments on this guy's music. He has a pretty damn good voice and some of his songs are just excellent. Beautifully written and full of emotion in them. |
