| Pulp – Have You Seen Her Lately? Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I like this song - can't believe no ones ever commented on it! Pretty self explanatory, girl is with a guy who's bringing her down and Jarvis is pleading with her to leave him behind. | |
| The Stone Roses – Made Of Stone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song always gives me goosebumps, love the chorus - powerful stuff man! | |
| Pulp – Like A Friend Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Come on and kill me baby, while you smile like a friend!" Love this song man, theres something a bit embarrassing about Pulp but I think Jarvis just cuts so deep with his lyrics, I think we all feel like this about our friends sometimes! |

| The Stone Roses – Driving South Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Great guitar work on this one, definetly agree that this one has a certain southern appeal, the name says it all, it has a double meaning really. The Stone Roses just make it work, if only all of "The Second Coming" had as much swagger and confidence as this one. |

| System of a Down – Shame on a Nigga (Wu-Tang Clan cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The song is killer, S.O.A.D simply murder it. It's to bad S.O.A.D don't have many rap crossovers as "Shame" is ridiculously good and "Would They Die for You?" with Duff Paddy is also brilliant (incase you haven't check it out, it was on South Parks: Chef Aid) | |
| Travis – The Beautiful Occupation Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| My friends slaughter me for being a fan of the "bland sounds" of Travis but I'm a big fan of them and in particular 12 Memories which is at heart an anti-war album, mind you, not the best album to listen to if your feeling suicidal. | |
| Nirvana – Dumb Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It's amazing how many theories there are behind Nirvana's lyrics, Kurt has stated in interviews that he believed people over analyzed his songs meanings and that he was a lazy writer who normally conjured up songs at the last minute. (videos are available on google tv) This song to me conveys feelings of confused contempt, like a man imprisoned by his own emotions and feelings but, who is getting by none the less, like most depressed druggies i suppose... |

| Insane Clown Posse – Under The Moon Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Brilliant ICP song, great story, great emotion, great beat - the ICP I know and love, it's a shame their efforts now sound forced and unimaginitive because damn... Violent J could tell a story. | |
| Travis – Peace The Fuck Out Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
"In ten years time they're gonna say That this was the momment when you threw it away" That line sum's up the whole song for me because in ten years time we'll look back at the Iraqi War like the past generation looked at the Gulf War, it was pointless, unnecessary waste of time and more importantly lives and it was all over money. |

| Oasis – D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman? Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Brilliant Song, it's much like "Fade Away" because of it's context but I find that I like this song better, it's soft and Noel has the perfect voice to guide you through it. I doubt Liam wrote it as Noel wrote all of Oasis's Material up until about 2000. | |
| Eminem – Big Weenie Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I believe this song is about an underground acid rap artist named Esham. Esham has had a problem with Em since 1999 when Eminem used the line "I don't Acid Rap but I Rap on Acid" which Esham took as a diss. Since then Esham has dissed Eminem on Multiple Occassions on past albums "Tounges" (2000) and "Repentance" (2003) In "Big Weenie" Eminem proclaims that the person in question has been saying "All these terrible, evil and awful mean things" Esham has used some of the most unnecessary disses to Eminem I think I've ever heard including... "Hailie's crying for her mommy ; He didn't commit suicide, I killed your cousin, Ronnie " "They won't let me on MTV I'd beat up Carson Daly And remind Eminem of D'Angelo Bailey ; Haley's in a coma, Haley's in a coma I smell the aroma, of a dead body" In 2001 Esham was ambushed by D12 (Eminem was not present) and was so badly injured he was taken to Hosptial, Esham suffered from a ruptured eyeball and is known (although not at all times, obviously) to wear shades because of this, which leads me to the line in "Big Weenie" "Just to see what a frog looks like when it takes two hits of ecstasy ; Cuz that's exactly what your eyes look like, want to check to see? ; Here's a mirror, notice the resemblence here? Wait, let me put these sun glasses on Now look in this mirror, how about now? ; What do you have in common? You're both green with envy and look like idiots with sunglasses on 'em" Last but not least Eminem, when referring to this person, says "Psych" and at the time of this release Esham was on Psychopathic Records. This is a fiercly debated subject between Esham and Psychopathic Records fans, some believe that Eminem would not have "the time" to diss someone like Esham, which is idiotic seeing how Em has dissed Ja Rule amongst others for lesser things. All in All i do believe this is an Esham Diss as there are to many connections to dismiss it. |
