| Katie Melua – I Cried for You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
How others can never truly understand how deeply and completely a love can run between two people (or how much one person can love someone else). Beautiful. |

| Nelly Furtado – Childhood Dreams Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The way this songs grows to the last part and the music virtually explodes with emotion makes this song one of my favorite NF songs (Maybe even my favorite). "And before this existence you were always here, inside of me." - This existence, the two people together in love. - Inside of me, a piece of the first persons' heart was already dedicated to the second person. - "Childhood dreams", what person didn't dream of the perfect relation/love as a child. |

| Nelly Furtado – Build You Up Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Definitely about a person trying to help someone who has trouble with letting go of his/her past. The sounds on the background remind me of waves breaking on the beach. Indicating the song/conversation takes place on a wide open space, somewhere where noone can hide and must face the truth. |

| The Streets – It's Too Late Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The streets are on here because the comment box is named; "What does this song mean to you" and not "What does this song mean literally". For me it's about taking a relationship for granted. The guy keeps on coming late because he knows she'll be there. Eventually the girl gives up, she doesn't want to be taken for granted (who wants ?). |

| SR-71 – Let It Whip Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Guy sees girl dancing vertically in club. Guy tries to pick up chick. Guy wants to dance horizontally with chick. Simple. |

| Robbie Williams – Tripping Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Oops, O.o my mistake. | |
| Reflekt – Need to Feel Loved Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The singer is named Delline Bass. I agree with CEREAL, the thrillseekers remix of the song is awesome (and the most famous version). I LOVED the movie that used it (It's all gone Pete Tong). The lyrics fit the movie and it's flow perfectly. funny detail: The song was released on Valentine's day 2005 in England. |

| Monty Python – Eric the Half-a-Bee Lyrics | 19 years ago |
What, what, WHAT !!! The worst ? This is the comic genius John Cleese at work. One of the best songs he ever did (although he can't sing). |
| Monty Python – Bruce's Philosophers Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Makes me thirsty. | |
| Jurassic 5 – Thin Line Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This is a perfect description of what plays through your mind when you suddenly realize that the feelings for a friend of the opposite sex run deeper than you thought. "But Yo, I just pretended / So I wouldn't lose the friendship." |
| Jennifer Love Hewitt – You Make Me Smile Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Wow, first one after about 4 years. Unbelievable. I can see JLH standing in a classic 30's dress standing next to a piano, which is being played by an old pianoman (with the obligatory glass of whiskey). The song has an old club vibe and I love it. |

| Genesis – Mama Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song is meant to be played LOUD !! And thanx for the bit out of the interview, pretty much takes away any discussion about the real meaning. Still, people can have their own thoughts about the lyrics. Me ? I just think it's a kick-butt song. |

| Craig Armstrong – This Love (Performed by Liz Fraser ) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Au contraire mon ami, these are the lyrics as they are performed on the Cruel Intentions OST. | |
| Robbie Williams – Tripping Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| It's pretty simple what he was referring to with the first 4 lines; his "solocareer" after Take That. First he was ignored by the general public, when they became aware of his attempts they laughed at him (of course with the George Michael "Faith" cover he made it easy). When he became bigger and bigger more and more people (usually guys who basically were just jealous) hated him, and now he is one of the biggest artists around (except in the U.S., but he doesn't really seem to care about that). So in the end he "won", maybe he read Ghandhi's quote and thought "Hey, this seems familiar". | |
| Frank Sinatra – My Way Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Paul Anka wrote the lyrics for this song in '69 and gave them to Frank Sinatra when Frank had it with the music business. He wanted to quit, Paul thought Frank had so much more to bring the world (he was right), wrote the song in a night and when he gave the song to Frank, Frank was immediatelly convinced he should stay a few more years and did. I heard this song a million times and will hear it a million times more, not because i put it on but because it's everywhere, it's musical history .... and you know what, i'll never get tired of it. |
