Thrice – Like Moths To Flame Lyrics 20 years ago
You guys nailed it; this I agree is a direct reference to the bible. Although not my favorite song musically, one of my favorites lyrically.

So according to the Christian logic on this board... Pulp Fiction is a Christian movie because there is a quote from the Bible in it. (Remember Samuel L. Jackson famous line?)

Not surprising, those who WANT to believe this is strictly a Christian song are ignoring what's written about the song on the record:

"This song lyrically sums up a major theme of the record, and affirms that we are beings of unconditional worth, regardless of what the world says we have to offer. It says that we have a choice in what we do, and that everything matters. It says that because of this, we have a responsibility to look out for those who can't look out for themselves. And if you choose to believe these things, it will change everything about the way you live and the way you see the world."

doomspleen - You need to think on your own for once. Christians aren't the only one's who believe in looking out for others and doing good things. Other religions do the same. OH, and what a shock, people who are not religious can be good people too!!!

FYI... Christians make up ~80% of the US, almost 100% of the current administration in DC, and 1/3 of the entire world. Yes... you're really the pinned down cull this song speaks of. Kinda like during the Crusades... man... Christians had it rough.

And finally... I believe in A GOD ... but like everyone else on this plant (whether you want to admit it or not), I have no idea about the diety. Just live life with good intentions and you'll be fine. There's nothing wrong with Religion but DAMN don't jam it down people's throats.
