I like this song, I love Nirvana. I have to agree with the first commenter though... i dont feel like repeating so i wil just copy it........... This is the way I hear it. A guy who often wonders where is he going to go when he dies. He knows there are 2 places, and he often wonders what each place is like. "wont see them again 'till the forth of july" A Idea that maybe the fire in the fireworks is the closest guess on what hell is like. "people cry people moan , look for a dry place to call their home" --Maybe an Idea that sometimes people spend too much of their time wondering where they are going to go , and how they will buried. "I knew a lady who cam from duluth- section"-- Maybe that is saying that you just might die early, and you might have wasted all your time wondering where your going when you die.. This is an awesome song... I saw Shinedown back in 2004, I think... and they were awesome. They did Simple Man and blew it away. It was awesome. I'm going to see them January 29, 2006 with Seether, Flyleaf, and Halestorm... That should be an awesome show. Anyway this is my favorite song on the Us and Them CD. I think its about people trying to make it in this world. The demons in your head. Talks about the rich arrogant people in "They never walked/They never cared" I think Shinedown is just a down-to-earth band that deserves much more than they got right now. |
