I personally think that this song isnt really actually a metaphor so much as a simple story. If you look at it concretely I think its fairly simple: The main character has a horrible disease and the only cure for it is for him to kill himself. If you read he isnt alone when he presses the detonator, so I think that their might be some scientists or something along those lines who are there with him. I really cant think of what this could be a metaphor for... |
