| Of Monsters And Men – Little Talks Lyrics

And I believe these modifications also need to be made:
"You're gone gone gone away
I watched you disappear
All that's left is a ghost of you
Now we're torn torn torn apart
There's nothing we can do
Just let me go, we'll meet again soon
Now wait wait wait for me
Please hang around
I see you when I fall asleep" |

| James – Ring The Bells Lyrics
|
this is about realizing that god does not exist...
the bells he talks about seem to be those found often at the top of churches; they're loud and can be heard across town. It goes on to say tell the whole town to wake up and listen to what he has to say: that god wasn't there for him, that people are living a dream within religion. the final verse is about letting go of god and how he and the world evolved beyond him.
"Grew my own wings
...
Grew gills and fins"
he overcame religion's let-downs and as a double meaning can also be seen as evolution where animals evolved wings, gills, and fins to adapt to their environment (over millions of years) and god didn't just create everything in 7 days. |

It's like telling the one you love "he look at me, i'm the guy of your dreams, i'm not the best in the world, i'm ordinary but i'm here." about telling that someone you love them but you know they won't take it the way you want. |

just because he's a christian doesn't make this a christian rock band. i have yet to hear a single verse that's about god or jesus or anything else related to religion... therefore it's NOT a christian rock band. |

i think it's more of the journey of life, about being naive. people giving advice but just keep going on not listening, just that you have to learn everything the hard way even if you get dragged through the mud. |

To me it sounds like a waking up after being in "love." He sees the a whole new world, cold, bitter, alone. And he says "smile like you mean it" as opposed to smiling on the outside only. So he says to let yourself let go... it's time to move on and smile but that just can't happen. I've been smiling on the outside and feeling what he's feeling for the past 5 months :( |

| Stabilo – Dont Be So Cold Lyrics

seems pretty simple to me, but maybe it takes a certain perspective to realize the meaning... when i look back on the day before my gf dumped me i remember everything she did seemed so cold, like there was nothing there. i guess this song looks at that how he prolly loves her but she doesn't feel that same. when he kisses her he feels nothing on her lips, when they break up she doesn't miss him at all. |

I wonder what makes you think they're a christian rock band... i have yet to see anything that leads to that conclusion... but if you listen ot the song "If it was up to me" there's clues in that song that makes us believe the opposite:
"the problem is we only guess
where we go when we finally rest?"
that passage clearly states that he doesn't know what happens after death... heaven? re-incarnation? who knows but he doesn't. And the whole meaning of that song is suicide, the singer describes how he wants to die and how he's living a lie (pretending to be happy but he's greatly depressed). No where in that song does it describe the bad side of suicide. nayways, my two cents: They are NOT a christian rock band. And btw i went to a catholic elementary school and now i'm an atheist... doesn't mean anything. |

sounds like a breakup and nothing's decided for aftwerwards. he wants to be there for the girl always. emotionally he's lost, he doesn't know how to move on, doesn't realise what's going on now. he does, says everything he can but to no avail... just left standing there alone. |

i see this song as being about the past and future of racsim... too many people are looking back on what was, all the hate but we should be looking for the love...

| Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Warrior Lyrics

it's just a song about escaping the troubles by running away but it never seems to work. she sees herself as a warrior because she thinks she gets stronger as she travels away from her troubles... at the end she says "dance the warrior" and when you're dancing often you take on a role of some one else (in a musical piece, in a play, etc), it's a way of showing how you feel or who yuo want to be, anyways, my opinion, everyone has their own... still a good song. |

about the trouble encountered when you're in love with someone... how you dream everything works out perfectly but in the end it's more rought then expected and trying to cope with what will most likely never be. "Should I stand amidst the breakers? Or should I lie with Death my bride?" I see these lines as meanign should i wait through this this ongoing pain or should i just give. |

kfe2, morphine is one of the cheapest drugs out there and hospitals aren't afraid of wasting it... aside from that i like your interpretation. to add to it, I think it's about a heroin addict that gets into an accident and switches his addiction to morphine (they have very similar chemical structure and could be plausible) and the morphine takes him to a calm death. |

I'm not too sure but is this a song of a man (named Jo) who's expected to be great but disappoints in his final chance. Brings to mind a sports hero who's had an amazing career but comes up short in the final game and his stardom fades. |
