| Sting – Lithium Sunset Lyrics | 19 years ago |
From the horse's mouth... On a trip to Brazil, a local did inform him, while watching a sunset, that lithium which can be found in prescrubed antidepressants is naturally present in sunlight (rising or setting). So the rising or setting sun - the lithium sunset is a God given antidepressant. |

| Sting – Desert Rose Lyrics | 20 years ago |
... I think just like most of the earlier posts say, sting writes about his dream girl… a girl who exists; but apparently reaching into his imaginations, he writes about his expected notions of her. He strays past what he knows enters a world of “his” dreams… about what he expects and wishes she is. All this which most possibly is no... Yet he still hopes/ dreams. [“I wake in pain” “These dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire…. Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire”]. Yes, his conceptions are a mirage. I may be wrong however; I’m of course writing from how I relate to it… |
