I feel that this a representation of a man who is down on his luck his life is a mess, his kid is an asshole, he doesn't have a dime to his name, but who cares he will "GET BY". I think this teaches us a great lesson that no matter how shitty life gets, you will get by with a little bit of hope and you don't need to keep up with the Joneses! |

The song white rabbit to me is about an escape from reality, not actually doing drugs, if that is your choice, but whatever one needs to do to escape reality. When this song was written, alot things were going on in the world that weren't so great and reality sucked. In turn people in general were looking for that release, that escape from reality. And this song just expresses it and brings it to the table. |
