| Neil Young – Sleeps With Angels Lyrics

Very much about Kurt. The opening lines talk about Courtney Love's impact on Kurt. "She wasn't perfect/She had some trips of her own/He wasn't worried/At least he wasn't alone/Too late/He sleeps with angels/Too soon" Saying Courtney wasn't the trophy wife, and had many troubles, but she completed Kurt and now he had someone to be with him through his journey that understood him. And yes, he is now with the Angels, very much too soon. Rest in Peace Kurt. |

Yes, written while thinking about Kurt. A lot of songs are hidden tributes to Kurt Cobain. Rest in Peace Kurt.. :-( |

Seems like a very good song. I have never heard it, but recently I was told it was about Kurt Cobain. Anyone that mentions a Legend like Kurt in their lyrics, I'm going to pay attention. Rest in Peace Kurt, your Legacy lives on. |

| Cher – The Fall (Kurt's Blues) Lyrics

No one has commented on this song?! I mean, I'm not a huge Cher fan, matter of fact I hate 99.99% of her music. But this song has a deeper meaning for younger fans than most would think. She wrote this song shortly after the death of one of music's greatest artists, and wrote it with him in mind. Rest in Peace Kurt Cobain, we miss you. :-( |

That line about "It's been so long" was very true to me. I was locked up in a juvenile correctional center, and every time I heard that song it focused me to work harder at being released early. Very motivational. |

Very nice song, a great intro for Mystikal getting on the Tank. All the rappers blend together good, and Mac and Fiend get a lot of good publicity off of this track. One of the best from the No Limit regime, which has lost a lot of ground since P gave the reins to Romeo. |

| Tupac Shakur – Ghetto Gospel (feat. Elton John) Lyrics

I was suspicious of Eminem being given full rights to produce an entire Tupac disc, and I was correct. He has brought Notorious BIG and Tupac together for Runnin', and it was a classic. He brought Tupac together with Elton John, an completely unimaginable combination, and made it very successful. However, Afeni, please don't ever let Eminem produce an entire album again. Just some songs here and there will be great. |

| Tupac Shakur – Hail Mary Lyrics

"Hail Mary". Great song on a great disc by a great artist. Many have done songs with this beat, or sampled his vocals, but nothing is as good as the original. Props to Eminem and Busta Rhymes for the remake, their verses were good but they should have left Filthy Scent, I mean Fifty Cent, out of it. Rest in peace Tupac Amaru Shakur, you are a Legend and no amount of haters can change that. |

| Tupac Shakur – Hit 'Em Up Lyrics

Tupac once again set the standard for lyricism. He could have done it without the Outlawz, but this song is one of the top three diss songs ever recorded. "Hit 'Em Up", "Ether", and "It'z A Problem" by Big Sty are probably the three best ever. Mobb Deep was accused by Tupac of stealing his style. Nas was accused of the same thing (But props to Nasir for remaking that Tupac song and performing at them awards last year). Tupac will always be ahead of Biggie in Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Biggie was a great artist in his own right, but the man put out one disc nationally while he was alive. If 50Cent got killed after Get Rich or Die Tryin', would he be a legend? No, cause it takes more than one hot disc to make yourself really known. Tupac put out so many classics. "Me Against The World" is arguably the best West Coast Cd ever made. "All Eyez" is close behind. Biggie was just brought in because NYC needed someone to try to take out Death Row. |

| Tupac Shakur – Me & My Girlfriend Lyrics

Tupac was such a great lyricist that to this day, nine years after he passed away, people don't fully comprehend his music.
"Picked you up when you was nine, started out my life of crime wit you, bought you some shells when you turned twenty-two"
He got a 9mm, and started his criminal life. When he bought a 22 caliber, he also purchased some shells. The whole song is about his love for weapons, and since this Eminem has made a version about his daughter and JayZ did one about Beyonce. I think both knew the true meaning, but very few other people do. |
