so yeah they are not getting back together sadly its only portugal. the man which is awesome. but i do love this song very much and yes i was at one of the last shows and i rocked out like crazy. as for the song i think it means this a person is surrounded and not in a police surrounding but just in general is always surrounded and just drop the gun meaning himself trying to talk himself out of killing himself. then it goes on to explain all the shit that has been happening to him. "The ticking clock spins out of control Erosion claims the monuments" time is almost up before he does it because it just kept eating at him and eating at him hence erosion. "end transmission we're giving up Climb the spires in hopes of… The flowing uncut grass climbs up all in efforts to drag us down" He is giving up because evertime he tries to climb up something always drags him back down. i think i understand this song now. okay i think that he is an angel that fell. "go slow for the angels will fall" which proves why he has broken wings. Now, i also think that the now that he has fallen he has become somewhat of a devil helper and is trying to influence people. "i'm having an episode, do you want a small bit part? i think you might, i hope you do" so now angels are falling and the world is almost ending. "the world falls apart, in just seven days it sinks to the bottom, in oceans of rain the cure is so clear, the blood is astray and everyone dies, except for the rain" Now he is saying that he hates himself for becoming evil, but now that he is evil he wants you to die. Because everyone on earth is insincere espescially when it comes to god's teachings. and is saying that everything will soon "render useless". "welcome to enhancement by affiliation" this means that now everyone has become almost the same person (maybe they are all dead). and now they are dancing because there are now no hungry nations. Then he is saying that even after they are dead they dont get to rest. so in the end these angels will fall for our god. but if we live our lives with secular law (Secular law is the oppisite of divine law in other words something that is non theocratic or in this case live without the belief of god) than we will be in a drug like state of bliss. or they were really tripping balls on acid and they were hallucinating all of this |
