Honestly, I think this song lyrically is very out of place as it would pertain to Cedric's story. I'm almost led to believe that this is the beginning of Cerpin's journey.. 'Who brought me here Forsaken, depraved and wrought with fear' This is very similar to the text in which Cerpin first wakes up in the Tremulant society in which he created strapped to his bed and covered in the ooze. All that being said, I can see where one of the previous users wrote about the story being a loop of itself, such as where life ends the after-life begins. Almost as if life in itself was it's own coma for Cerpin. For those of you not in the know you can read DeLoused here: http://www.goldstandardlabs.com/marsvolta/DeLoused_storybook.pdf It's really an intriguing and perplexing story. Cedric almost pokes fun at the simplicity of the human mind first luring us in with Cerpin being an anagram for ''Prince'. We could discuss it all day but I think it's heavily open to your own interpretation. |
