uhh yea... anyways metallica rocks and zeppelin is alrite i guess, it depends on what your taste on music is. I personally think that if you took out those last powerful lines at the very end of stairway to heaven it wouldn't be that good of a song but thats just my opinion. People consider this the best rock song of all time, but i'm not sure about that... |

wow Benjio....wow, i doubt its about professional athletes considering the song says the words war in it a couple of times and talks about looking death in the eye and being a soldier. OF COURSE THIS SONG IS ABOUT WAR, my guess is Iwo Gima, seach it up if you don't know what the battle is because i'm too lazy to explain it. Theres a sweeet movie comin out with the Iwo Gima battle i'll be playin this song before i see it. ANYWAYS good fuckin song and "Ddadutta" I don't think maiden swears in the song XD. |

I understand what you mean countryboy9 and I hate Communist too but when you look back at the war in Vietnam and the people that were killed, their was almost no need for fighting there. Vietnam is not a very strong outpost for any military base and thus it's insignificant for America to defend it. When China was being ruled over my communist that would have been better to defend since China is huge and has a massive population. Look at China now, if there was ever a WWIII it'd be with China and America due to the fact that both of them are considered Superpowers. It'd be Democracy vs Communism again. |

countryboy they lost Vietnam and Vietnam turned into communism and nothing happened. As for Korea I can understand that. AS FOR AFGANISTAN, AMERICA GAVE WEAPONS TO OSAMA BIN LADEN! Not a very smart move but they were fearful of Soviets, the thing is Soviets weren't as frightning as people thought. Actually due to what i see in history I beleive many Soviets were incompentant. Many wars were fought with the threat of nothing, the Soviet Union collapsed and I'm guessing people could have already foreseen this happening. |

one word...."over-rated" and I think many agree with me but are frightned to say or either they'll deny it until they die. This song is good....but not AS good as everyone tries to make it seem. The best part although is the ending, that's where it gets me, the ending is fucking awsome. I still think there's better Zeppelin songs out there and to seem cool people generally try to pretend that they know Zeppelin by mentioning this song. |

AHHHH NOooo Corrosive30......no man, I was on your side of your guy's arguement but then you said that "dream on" was by Zeppelin.......for shame.....it's Aerosmith dude. For you NO CODE 79, you said in a comment that Metallica was a hair metal band.....now I hope I just mis-read that cause if you meant to say that, then your a complete idiot. As for Dave's voice, well I don't care for it too much but I still don't mind it and his guitar work sounds awsome. Now for dazed and confused, if any of you people were a guitar play you'd know that dazed and confused has it's main rhythm line from a bass and when the guitar comes in, it doesn't even really sound like one. The guitar in sweating bullets is much heavier, played on different strings and it only happens for the chorus. That should clear things up......and if it doesn't they you guys are truely lost. |
