Really, i bet he said its about the tour bus, which i dont doubt. But as many deftones song do this song seems to definetely hold more than one meaning. And you cant deny the Heroin themed lyrics. A chrome knife is a syringe. Float here forever? All the fiends are on the block? come see inside my bones? I really dont see the cutting connection. Though it sounds like it, its to literal of an interpretation. Cant touch the floor? Float here forever? Fiends on the block? Cutting yourself doesnt seem to fit the describtion of a party, and it doesnt give you the lazy high feeling. |

I dont think this song is about the character Judith in the bible but more about Maynards mom named Judith. At one time in her life she became very sick. She continued to pray every day in the hospital. Pray To your christ, to your god Never taste of the fruit Never stray, never break, never Choke on a lie Even though he's the one who Did this to you Never thought to question why I think that lyric goes along very well with waht ive been saying. But I might be wrong. Take it how you want. |

Well I know this song has a lot of different meanings to people. But for about a year I lived with this real smart guy. And I liked his interpretation the best. He said this song was about art. And when people create art they are often resistent to show it to other people. They ussually will throw it away or are reluctant to let it be shown in a gallery. And he said this song was telling people to just show people there Roll the windows down "This cool night air is curious Let the whole world look in Who cares who sees anything" I think this line goes along with what ive been saying. Just show your art who cares who sees anything. And the line "were just passengers" would symbolize that were only passengers on this earth. And that we have very little time, so dont waste it. I like this interpretation a lot. But take it how you want it. |
