SilentAenima is dead on. MudvayneChick, it's not at all saying that "i'm helping the future by doing drugs", no not at all, psychedelics arn't drugs (well some people treat them as drugs, more spiritual people see through that), and in this theory is that ape's found these mushrooms and if you know the effects of psychedelic mushrooms, it doesn't just drug you up, it gives you a whole new way of thinking and analyzing and just putting everything into a perspective. In this theory, it's suggesting that we evolved from ape's eating these mushrooms because of their basic mind breaking new into a whole new intelligence, thus mentally and eventually physically evolving down the line of life. No, I don't believe in this theory and I actually believe it's been marked as pseudo-science, which isn't taken seriously at all, but I find it very interesting nontheless like Mudvayne.

cutting can refer to "cutting" coke with impurities.. and matching can refer to "matching" weed (like i smoke a bowl of my weed with you, then you smoke a bowl of your weed with me).. but in this songs case, i think this song is just meant to sound cool. |

this song is incredible, i was tripping on acid a couple days ago and was listening to this, i just couldn't believe all the things i haven't heard before in that song when sober.. it seriously felt like it was ment to be listened to while tripping. there was just so much to it that i can't even explain. |
