Radiohead – Nude Lyrics 18 years ago
This song's all about life, man.
Most of the things you set out to do, never will happen.
That's why our world isn't completely chock-full of astronauts, and lawyers, and doctors.

Paint yourself white
fill up with noise?
What is white noise?
Just a very loud, unconcentrated noise.
That doesn't fill any voids..
White noise kind of reminds me all talk no action, for some reason.

It's so true though,
There's always a little piece missing your "puzzle"
and you never know what it is, because when you have it you're too focused.

You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking, and that's success, something that rarely happens for the majority of people.

That's why you have millions and millions of normals walking around guided by pure instinct..

As Cities Burn – Admission: Regret Lyrics 18 years ago
perhaps it's about a kid who's coming to grips that his lover is no longer feeling the same about their relationship. Begging her to come remind him that he's loved and that she believes in their love, and perhaps he sees this.. saying "I hear there's a whole world out there" but he does nothing, and wants to hold onto this love that's deteriorating.

"So I hear there's a whole world out there
But I've grown to love this bed too much to leave it
I keep hearing about this world out there
Come untie me from this bed
Come untie me from the wicked things I love "

That right there says it all to me..

"Movie quotes and lyrics still connecting us like constellations.
I wonder if I could ever seperate myself from this."

Wow.
Such a good song. :]
Self-explanitory, though.

Radiohead – In Limbo Lyrics 19 years ago
I listened to this song when I was high.
I got stuck in it.
It was almost like being in Limbo.

Thom Yorke – Analyse Lyrics 19 years ago
"Cows in the city" kind of makes sence. Since they usually belong in the fields, in the rural areas. Which, is the polar opposite of the city, and urban areas. Then again, you don't have the time to analyse why it would make sence so.

To me, this song kind of puts you in your place. It kind of takes the magic out of the world when he says "you're just playing a part"
And it feels like when he says
"
It gets you down
It gets you down

There's no spark
No light in the dark

It gets you down
It gets you down
You traveled far
What have you found
That there's no time"
Feels to me like, you have your hopes up, during life, thinking you're going on for some greater meaning, some greater good, but then you realize that there's no "Light in the dark".
Maybe just essentially, you have your hopes up, then you realize you're just "playing a part" in this life. Referring to jilgiljongiljing's responce.

The video is crazy.
The world is falling apart, yet it seems they could care less.

Radiohead – 2 + 2 = 5 (The Lukewarm) Lyrics 19 years ago
Ffs, this isn't a song about the bible. It's implying that the character of the song lives a life confined to his own ideas. He's just a dreamer, pretty self explainitory there.

"I'll stay home forever, where two and two always makes a five."
He's going to stay in his own little world, where everything he anyway that he wants, all truths are
different to him from the outside world. Keep in his "bed", so to speak.

"January has april showers"

Again, he's just living his life according to HIS rules, things go the way he wants them to.

"It's the devil's way now
There is no way out
You can scream and you can shout
It is too late now"

Obviously, this life style is a bad habit to have. And now he can't get out of the world he's made up, and will always make things go his way.

"Don't question my authority"
Simply put, he doesn't want others to challenge his ideas.

I don't understand why people say this is a political song, Radiohead isn't that shallow, their lyrics have a lot more potential then just bashing government officals. If you want that silly stuff, then go listen to System of a Down (ew.)

This song, is basically just a man trapped in his own ideas who can't get out.
