| Atmosphere – Who I'll Never Be Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I always thought of the song like its a guy that is friends with a girl thats unhappy in her relationship and the guy likes her but feels like if he brought that up she would feel betrayed. Every song she writes without him is just more memories, and he knows he'll never be the man in her life. | |

| Haha I'm stupid... "Such as your religion or your past and your raise" is obviously.. "Such as your religion or your past and your race" Fixed! Still not sure about the line after street preacher | |

| Love this new song! Favorite line: "I started rhyming just to be somebody...found out that I already was". I'm not sure..if some of the lyrics are right, mainly "such as your religion or your past and your raise " and "I been called worse and tried to live up " Think the meaning here is pretty self explanatory... everyone is different, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't unite, no matter what our difference in race, background, religion. Can't wait for the new album | |
| Atmosphere – The Waitress Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I don't think they're related. I think the bum probably has a daughter that the waitress makes him think about. Waitress maybe has daddy issues so they have the connection, even though there's no connection. | |
| Atmosphere – In Her Music Box Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Love the song, its my favorite one off of the album. It reminds me a little bit of my childhood, the whole part after the first chorus. Just parents that weren't ready to be parents don't really know what you'll pull out of the world. | |

Lemme talk wit you; I'm sick, my medicine is Can I walk wit you? Made the song right there lol. I like the beat too, and I think thats my favorite sample out of the Shaolin movie. |

| Rage Against the Machine – No Shelter Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| ^Agreed. This is definitely one of my top 5 RATM songs, I love the chorus, and I'm thinking its "Americanize! Americanize! View the world through American eyes" It makes more sense that way. | |
| Rage Against the Machine – Know Your Enemy Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I really wish RATM's page got constant traffic every day, because Zach has some really really good lyrics in these songs. vieires, you just commented on something that was said 2 years ago, but yeah you hit the nail right on the head. Favorite part of the song is definitely the last part, YES I KNOW MY ENEMIES! They're the teachers that taught me to Fight me Compromise! Conformity! Assimilation! Submission! Ignorance! hypocrisy! Brutality! The Elite.. All of which are American dreams!(x8) |

While I can see why you saw that, I have always and always will see this song as being about an actual person, because I don't think that every single line could be a metaphor. A lot of the stuff seems literal. Although there are quite a few lines that obviously are metaphors. I think those parts are just referring to people that will always be exploited, but they always can "regenerate" their culture and fight back. Thats what the whole "Tear away at the mask" is about. New Line of Mason Dixon just means that she was sold off to a sweatshop instead of being smuggled to freedom. The only line I'm not sure about, is the "My job is to kill if you forget to take your pill". I tried researching about sweatshops, female workers and pills, but no avail. I'm guessing the pill is like a energy booster or something so they can work more effiecently. |

| I can't believe theres no comments on this. Its actually hard for me to listen to this sometimes, Amazing track. | |
| Jay-Z – Anything Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I love this song! Not much to explain here, the 1st verse is Jay talking to his best friend, the 2nd is him talking to his mom and the 3rd is him talking to his nephew. Still, you can hear the feeling through the whole song and everyone can relate to this someway or another. | |
