Why does EVERYTHING have to relate to vampires and werewolves ever since Twilight?

Puddle of Mudd – Psycho Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm as big a Nirvana fan as the next person, but I can't even begin to believe that a bunch of Nirvana fans want to bitch about any band ripping them off when Nirvana themselves ripped off the sound of The Pixies. Cobain even admitted to it. Sure, there's a fine line between being influenced by a band and ripping them off, but the almighty Nirvana crossed that line, too. Nirvana is not the end-all-be-all source of originality that most people want to believe they are, no matter how good they are.

Tiger Army – Forever Fades Away Lyrics 17 years ago
Thank you, MissNeurotic, for finally putting that out in the open. I can't stand these elitist pricks who think they're so much better than others because they were fans since the beginning, and consider it absolute blasphemy for these bands that they hold on a pedestal to change up their sound a bit to stay fresh. Grow up, people, seriously.

Godhead – Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
While I listened to this song, I could hear a rotating, thumping noise. I realized it was John Lennon's and George Harrison's bodies turning in their graves, and I then heard Paul McCartney smashing his head into a cinderblock and damning the name "Godhead". Before the song came to an end, I heard Ringo Starr screaming a blood-curdling scream as he slowly snipped his ears off his head with nail clippers. Then again, this version's better than what Thrice did to it.

The Birthday Massacre – Blue Lyrics 20 years ago
It kind of seems like a debate on what the color blue symbolizes, in my opinion. Where someone sees blue as a symbol of light and innocence, and the other sees it as we see black; dark, morbid, evil... knowing this band, it might be the same person.
