I see it as a love song, about someone starting or hoping to start a relationship. He is in love with Sarah and is hoping that they will be together, and the first verse explains it. kill me again... He is in love again, he feels lucky, like its going to happen this time. I don’t think that it was Sarah who had killed him with love before, its just that he knows that it will happen again, so I think its just his pessimistic way to say: I love You I need you I want to be with you The Second verse is about a feeling that when you are in love there’s nothing that you want more than to be with your lover. Head of state - fuck him. And the way I understand the chorus is, like, save me from all the torments and pain and nuisance, and I will be all you need. We are standing on the edge is just such a cool metaphor following the superhero line. I see it as a last scene of a b movie, two of them standing on the actual edge hugged, with the air crash of life’s bs burning beneath |

| To me, it seems to be about a promiscuous guy and one special relationship in his life. It's like, he does whathever he wants, experiments, does what is bad for him, trying to feel the new high, but there is only one person that makes him feel something (pain i suppose). | |
