Along with amazing lyrics comes one of the most complex, phenominal Tool songs yet. Have you heard the fuckin poly-rhythms on zie stoned rants? I mean this shit doesnt let up ever. I'd say it's even more complex than the Grudge or Third eye...but I suppose thats up for debate. Danny Carey strikes again you bitches! |

Awesome song...Morello uses a whammy pedal 2 octaves down for the intro and slaps the strings. Oh and hilly2005 is a dousch haha. |

Im sure someone has already posted this point but Ill put it again anyway...This song has some references to Tool's "Aenima" 'I never quite learned how to swim' (Learn to swim!)
'Call an optimist' (Taken from 'Dont just call me a pessimist, try and read between the lines').
I'm really not quite sure what the songs about, but being the singer from Tool and having these lyrics is more than a coinicidence. |
