This has to be one of my favourite Bjork tracks (and that is saying something). I love the idea of doing something destructive or violent or just imagining it, so as to be able to appreciate the nicer things in life or just so you don't go completely insane. You gotta let you thoughts run free. Love the line "when it lands, will my eyes be closed or open?" It's like when you stand waiting for a tube on the way to work and imagine what it would be like to throw yourself infront of it. I'm not talking about any truely suicidal tendencies here, that would be too easy. To me its about letting your mind ruminate over as many ideas as you possibly can. Negative and positive, it's all part of the beauty of life |

Pressure Pressure Pressure.. Love this song but it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable. "you could smell it, so you left me on my own to complete the mission". It's like she knows that essentially it's down to her to produce the goods and bring home the bacon. She is the hunter and she alone must feed her children (literal and metaphorical) |

Love this song. Makes me want to just go out there and enjoy life. no matter how bad things may seem i think we all have that glimmer of hope somewhere deep down that things aren't all that bad and there is joy out there waiting to be experienced "you can't say no to hope". Have you ever sat on top of a mountain with a radio and good batteries and played a joyous tune? Try it (maybe a hill or cliff first) it can put things in perspective... THIS IS enlightenment!!! | This song always reminds me of MDMA. That feeling you get when things are starting to kick in "something important is about to happen, it's coming up" from somewhere deep inside. Also "we just met and i know i'm a bit too intimate" makes me think of all those deep if only brief conections you make with people when under the influence. or is it just me?? | |

When I first heard this son (which I love), I was reminded of a documentary I had seen about a guy named Daniel Tammet, an autistic savant who can perform amazing mathematical calculations in his head almost instantly. Unlike most savants Daniel is able to tell us how he does this. He SEES the numbers; as textures, shapes colours and even motions. These all go together, so that a calculation becomes a vast landscape in his mind. His favourite number/landscape? Pi, which he can "see" to 22 514 decimal places!!
