| Something Corporate – The Runaway Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I don't see it so much as 'stalkerish' as I think the subject is dependant on the girl. Too much so. The lines "'Cause I know what you really need What you need, or what I need... Either way, this is where you should be: Here with me Or, I'll bleed So much that you won't believe" are what makes me think this is about a person with a dependant personality. Like, they need this person, or else they'll die, essentially. And, he's telling her that. If you leave, I'll die. It's meant to guilt her into staying and not running from him. He doesn't even know the difference between what she needs and what he needs, anymore. They've almost melded together for him. There's a lot of love and desperation in this song, which is what makes it so powerful. |

| She Wants Revenge – Monologue Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Probably my favorite song on the album. I think of Bondage/S&M when I hear it. Ergo, why this would probably be a nice background song for sex, haha. | |
| Jack Off Jill – Lollirot Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I always thought this song was about sex. " You are insatiable Sugared smile slapped on your skull Everyone knows they need a piece of lollirot Lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lollirot Hard rock queens in ripped up jeans Everyone thinks they're so obscene Bend them over, you'll get a taste of lollirot Lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lolli lollirot " Bend over the "hard rock queens"? Need I explain further? |

| Blondie – Rip Her to Shreds Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This was about a groupie named Mimi who used to go to all the shows, merely to sleep with the rock stars [as groupies do]. | |
| AFI – ...But Home Is Nowhere Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Like Sessha said, they're three songs. ...But Home Is Nowhere [Untitled] This Time Imperfect And, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed how off base the lyrics were, mainly to [Untitled]. I love Manxbass' explanation. Fascinating. |

| Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I felt this was an extremely straight forward song. The groom is pacing the corridors of the church, nervous. He passes by a room with an open door and hears some news he would have rather not known. He was going to yell, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?" as a first instinct, but realized that wouldn't be the best thing to do. The lyric isn't "I chime in", it's "I'd chime in". I see no metaphor here. He didn't want to know about his wife to be. He wished they had kept the door closed so he didn't have to hear. Honestly, I'm not sure what the last stanza means. I think it could mean that he's just accepting what happened and that he still loves her. |
