isnt the lyric 'a pro at the sweet talk'? thats what i heard.. i think it kind of makes more sense. but anyway. anyway yeah this song is basically a song about a guy who just likes her for the way she looks and is kind of using her and he just wants to sleep with her. jerk. these kind of guys should be neutered. anyway great song :D |

i really like this song, or i did (i was obsessed)...but i played it over and over again until i was sick of it....so i didnt listen to it for a while but i like it now. i think its pretty self-explanatory...hes waiting for someone to come and see him, maybe they had a figth or something....but it could have other meanings, it seems pretty ambigous.. |

the meaning...someone said in the first few comments, that lauri wrote it about a dream, i read that too, but i also read (and this is my opinion) that it was about growing up or something, waiting for your time. i think that even though the rasmus arent the most sincere band in the whole entire world, they make pretty good music, for people who listen to music for the music (not that there is anything wrong with caring about the sincerity and 'soul' of music, but music has different purposes for different people, and this song is quite good and i like it, for listening to. |

Ok. i think, quiffporn, that maybe you should just let this go now. you have continued this thread for what, 2 years? which is possibly acceptable for a devoted (and maybe slightly obsessed) fan, but for someone who hates the rasmus with a passion? seems strange to me. i would also just like to agree with diet_punk_rock and whoever else said that this website is, in fact, called SONGMEANINGS - perhaps in the hope that people would come here to maybe discuss the meanings of the songs, and other related shit, not spend almost TWO YEARS insulting people about a band they dont even like. also, you seem to be prejudiced against young people and gay people. calling someone gay is not an insult, you homophobe. and there are 40-year-olds who have never travelled outside the town they lived in their entire life and who know nothing about anything of any importance, and 12 year olds who have been all over the world and are capable of/ have experienced more than most people ever will. you cant say that just because a person is 12-15 therir tastes in music are just a product of their stupidity and the fact that they are young. excuse me for commenting on an old thread. and for that outburst of myt opinion, feel free not to read it anyone. i am not one to FORCE MY OPINIONS DOWN OTHER PEOPLE'S THROATS. or i try not to be anyway. :) |
