i think this song at 1st sounds like its about him comiting suicide or sumthin but i think it has something to do with the government hes saying hes tired of seeing the bs in the world cos he says dont try to feed me full of your lies...lies=bs that the govt and the media feeds us. yea then again its just my opinion |

well 1st of all i do agree with most of these ideas about the religion meanings but here is my opinion about what this song is about i know this sounds kinda dumb but me and my friend are hard core soad fans and we were listing to this song one day and i was like dude wut is he talking about? well we bolth came to the conclusion that infact it is about the death of jesus... i think that they are trying to figure out why a man would go throught so much pain ....now as you have probly already read on this site the part about jesus saying "Father into your hands i comand my spirit" and the "why have you foresaken me" part well this im not entirely sure why he mentions this part but i know 4 sure that when he says trust in my selfritious suicide hes saying like "i know what im doing ,i know what i am dieng for" and the "wake up! grab a brush and put on a little make up! hide the scars to fade away the shake up" means that jesus knew that he was guna die way b4 he did so he had to make it seem like everything is ok ....i mean if u knew u were guna die youd b shaken to...so they mean hes hiding the fact that he knows he will so die....on and the whd u leave your keys upon the table part to me means this...a key will let u inside of something and let u see what is behind a lock(i refer to trust) jesus gave his trust to his 12 diciples which betrayed him...so i think soad is saying why did he trust people so much? u left your keys up for grabs...ya i know that sound way off but rember i was just thinking this is wut he ment so ya... |
