Jason Mraz – I'm Yours Lyrics 18 years ago
hey, is it "i like peaceful melodies" or "all a peaceful melody" or "a la peaceful melody" because i deffinitely don't hear the word like there. :\

that said, I LOVE THIS SONG!
baaaaaaah it's fantastic.
when i first heard it, i think it hooked me because he used the word "bestest" and it was adorable because he's just so damn cute... and after that that it was just like baaaaaah i love youuuu... mmm yeah.

My Chemical Romance – Sleep Lyrics 19 years ago
Gaz, that made me laugh really hard. Just putting that out there.

I guess I could kinda see how this would fit in with a patient journey...but...eh...it's still kinda hard. I agree with B12, and besides, I think it's kinda best for us to leave it up to our imaginations. I love the parts with Gerard talking about the night terrors (SNAKES! SNAKES! AH!) at the beginning.

You know at first I thought this song was about terrorISM- I have no clue how I got that but I did.

My Chemical Romance – Disenchanted Lyrics 19 years ago
First, I really like this song. =D

I think this song is about the people you grow up with in High School and the things they do to hurt you, and then growing up and seeing them as regular people who didn't really amount to everything they acted like they would've. Kind of spitefully saying "Well you did this to me, and you hurt me really badly, and now I'm here and I can sing these sad songs for the world while all you can do is your sad little job."

The life long wait for a hospital stay, I think, is just life in general, in the end all coming down to a possibly triumphant, but also possibly quiet and overall "disappointing" death. Disappointing isn't the best word, but you get it.

Matisyahu – King Without A Crown Lyrics 20 years ago
I think personally that Matisyahu is absolutely amazing, I think that anybody who could just put off his work as a gimmick or as something stupid he's doing for the fun of it is absolutely wrong. So yeah, I agree with rage.love on that.

For this song, I think it's absolutely amazing. It's one of my favorites on the album, and I really do think it's even better on the "Live at Stubb's" c.d. He was in my area just a few weeks ago and I had been dying to see him! I heard he's even more amazing when you see him perform live, which is pretty awesome considering.

And I think some people are playing a tad too much into the "I'm not Jewish, but I understand it" aspect. I think a lot of what he's saying has to do with life and God as a whole, and I don't think you have to be Jewish to enjoy and understand his music. Just a thought.

Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics 20 years ago
Alright...don't tear me apart, this is my first ever comment here. Ha, wonderful. Alright, now I would have to disagree with the funeral settin; consider the title. "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies"...and with that in mind...I got this out of the song:

I really think that this is just a song with a character, so I won't get into that.
I do believe it is the groom who is pacing, walks by a room with the door open, with the two people inside talking and he overhears what they say (oh I'm sure you've all heard the song seven million times, I won't repeat the lyric). But then I think he considers chiming in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?" but I don't really think he ever says it, looking at the lyric following, being of course, "No, it's better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" and I think that is where he is sort of recovering his wits and thinking against it.
Then, however, I think when he is talking about the marriage being saved, I think it just means he is going to be more safe about things with his wife, or perhaps that now he knows this about her where he did not know before. I sincerely don't think the wedding is going to cease to procede, especially considering the title, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". I think that has more of a meaning than just "Well it's over." I think the pouring of the champagne is just, in fact, like the toast at a wedding. So I do think it goes on.

And I'm done.
