This song Is with out a doubt one of the most beautiful songs there is.Its perfect for my current situation.I love this girl but she doesnt want to advance anything and Idk why.I've questioned lately ,what if were to leave,stop loving her,would she even notice or care? The Title is actually "The Last Goodbye Of SMILE and Bone", Not The last goodbye of skin and bone . The line that says "Dear God, I wrote a letter drenched in my own blood. Upon the message it read, I loved, I loved". If you Listen to the song it actually says"Dear God,I wrote a letter ,drenched in my own blood,Do you see I wrote a message,I Loved,I loved." I am Ghost Is a GREAT band.I hope that they get more exposure this year,They deserve it. |

I could see how this song could go along with the video;The whole plot about mikey and the girl he met at the USO show. I personally think that it's more about the concept behind the album,I think that the guy might be second guessing himself;wondering if he can accomplish this HUGE task of bringing satan 1000 corpses of evil men. The opening line where he says" I never said I'd lie in wait forever",I think that means that he never agreed to spend eternity in in this state of purgatory that he's in while he tries to achieve his goal. He's at the point of wondering if He even could finish this task and if he could should he ? I think he could also be realizing that he made a deal with the devil and even if he does finish ,who's to say that the devil would keep up his end of the bargin? Thats just what i think right now...Lol ...I have SO many theories on this song but i'll post that later. |
