The Crane Wife is the first and only album I've heard by these guys, but I personally thought this song is awesome. To be honest, I think most of you haters are just wanky 'this isn't alternative indie enough for our badarse selves' dicks with no sense. The chorus is repetitive, wow, how many times does old Colin say 'My Crane Wife' in those songs. It's got a fuckin' cool beat and is one of my favourites. Find a good reason to hate this song or just shove it you homos. |

To the dude who reckons the music sucks, thats fair enough. I think it is the standout personally, I love the songs, you don't. The music is what makes these songs so irresistible, it's what's made me listen to this damn CD like 50 times in little over a month. The lyrics are emotive, but they'd be poos with shit music. Everything fits perfectly. |

Man , people pour their hearts out on here. But it's GOOD. I agree with Saggio on the meaning, it's pretty self-explanatory. As great as the lyrics are, the thing that gets me with TPS is the incredible music. To be honest, I think you could whack any lyrics over the top and most of their songs would still be awesome. |
