The song is about his father's death. I can truly relate to this song, since my own father died only eight months ago. Maybe he knew that it would happen, just as my family did, and you try to get ready for it, but you never can - it is always "unexpected". You can say a lot of bad things about The View, but they just speak from their hearts, no matter it's a fun song or about some serious shit. |

This song means a lot to me. In the last two years my father was sick to cancer and had to fight, and when I heard this song for the really first time it was like a voice which said everything I wanted to tell my father....it's a beautiful song, maybe one of Coldplay's best. |

I only know the version of Embrace on their "out Of Nothing" record. Can anybody tell me where I can find the Coldplay version? And don't say it's a B-side of "Talk" (I've noticed that you've talked about it), because in Germany it's another song called "Sleeping Sun". |
